For over twenty years, I've been telling stories through photography.
Throughout those years, my work has always revolved around people. As a photographer, mental health professional and podcast host, I've spent countless hours listening to stories, observing human behaviour and exploring what makes us who we are.
Different roles perhaps, but rooted in the same curiosity: understanding people.
I've always been fascinated by what shapes us. The experiences we carry, the stories we tell ourselves and the ways we choose to show up in the world. That curiosity continues to guide everything I do today.
Today I photograph entrepreneurs, artists, brands and publications, creating images that feel personal, honest and full of character.
Because the strongest photographs aren't necessarily the most perfect ones.
They're the ones that tell a story.

I believe great photography starts with connection.
Whether I'm photographing a founder, an artist or a campaign, I want people to feel comfortable enough to show up as themselves.
My background in mental health care taught me how to listen, observe and create trust. Those skills still shape every shoot I do today.
The result is imagery that feels natural, authentic and deeply personal.

Life Outside Work
After spending twenty years in Amsterdam, I now live in the countryside near Zwolle with my husband Glenn, our cats, ducks and chickens.
I love long conversations, good books, countryside walks and meeting people whose stories challenge the way I see the world.
I'm also the co-host of Mind Matters, a podcast about mental health and the challenges of everyday life.
Because at the heart of everything I do is the same thing: a genuine curiosity about people.
